DE COMERCIO. 9 minutes into the match, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Ramalho came free, but Alfredinho Gerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's zone, Abel Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredinho Gerber came out of the goal and Abel Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Reinaldo Palmeira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Mustafa in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Ekhi saved Ricart Futebol Clube from getting behind. Alfredinho Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ramalho in the 29th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Marcos Senesi. Marcos Senesi made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Teodoro Nikola however managed to control. Andres Ekhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Mustafa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Nikola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Xian J.J. had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andres Ekhi. Ricart Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xian J.J. was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 44th minute, Sergio Mustafa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Marcos Senesi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Mustafa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Hans-Jürgen Beckenbauer in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Marcos Senesi. With a little luck, Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi got control of the ball when Sergio Mustafa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Ramalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredinho Gerber read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Sergio Mustafa's late challenge caught a Ricart Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Mustafa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, C.U.E. DE COMERCIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Mustafa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to C.U.E. DE COMERCIO getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sergio Mustafa hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Francisco Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Romano in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Salvador Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ekhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Eusebio Hori ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredinho Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 92ndth minute of the game Eusebio Hori who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.U.E. DE COMERCIO's Alfredinho Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.U.E. DE COMERCIO players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
