Magic Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Dominguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Radomir Okopny charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Okopny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sheriff's Clayton Gol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Clayton Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clayton Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the match, Magic Football's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clayton Gol. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dagan Pavlovic hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Sheriff's Clayton Gol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clayton Gol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 23 minute of play. When Radomir Okopny was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. The supporters of Sheriff booed when Magic Football was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Okopny didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Clayton Gol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ. The goal made the score 6-0. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Xacintu in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magic Football's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Notis Filippas was slow to take the kick. During this time Sheriff's players had a chance to rest. Sheriff's Notis Filippas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 44th minute, Clayton Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 48 minutes into the match, Damaso Xacintu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ, 8-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clayton Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Xacintu in the 54th minute of play forced Magic Football's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ. Magic Football's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clayton Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 59th minute of the match Sheriff got a corner. Magic Football's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Notis Filippas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sheriff's Thodoris Tassoulis was substituted for Dragoş Bălace. 63 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Kolbe. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Gol in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ saved Magic Football from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Xacintu in the 81st minute of play forced Magic Football's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Clayton Gol made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ. Magic Football's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. In the 87th minute Clayton Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Clayton Gol. But to his dismay, Clayton Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 14-0. Jakub Kolbe kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Magic Football's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sheriff's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Akakios Trachanas in the 94th minute. Mustafa Barış Özaktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clayton Gol in the 96th minute of play. After 97 minutes Magic Football's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Akakios Trachanas who took care of the corner kick. Sheriff walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
