Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Cunea started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Alex Cunea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Garay came out of the goal and Alex Cunea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavius Ferenț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Baraquiel in the 8th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Toacsen came free, but Julio Garay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Cunea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Julio Garay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rosario Central's Julio Garay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cunea in the 31st minute of play. If Anders Kilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rosario Central's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Horaţiu Chelbea was slow to take the kick. During this time Rasnita's players had a chance to rest. In the 46th minute, Horácio Aparecido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavius Ferenț was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half Rosario Central were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leopoldo Baraquiel made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Fermin Cambiasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Gigel Apăvăloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasnita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horaţiu Chelbea in the 65th minute. Alex Cunea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Garay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Toacsen in the 76th minute of the match. Boleslaw Mochowak hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Julio Garay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Toacsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Rosario Central's Julio Garay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Cunea in the 80th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Alex Cunea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rasnita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Cunea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Sebastian Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Garay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Rasnita's Alex Cunea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Garay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sebastian Toacsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Garay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cunea in the 96th minute of play. Rosario Central were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
