Faustino Egoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Benvido was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Ricky Kalischer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andréas Linquist. The goal made the score 2-1. Grêmio Papão de WC's Henrique Messias managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Egoi in the 15 minute of the game. Clemente Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gedeon Káposztás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 23rd minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gedeon Káposztás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes Canalla Fuego's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edson Faria who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th minute, one of Canalla Fuego:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canalla Fuego. Andréas Linquist made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Aristides Villanueva sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Benvido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcus de Godoi hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Aimar got free with Andréas Linquist in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Gedeon Káposztás made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Benvido. Canalla Fuego's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Aimar to strike the kick off in the second half. Andréas Linquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky Kalischer in the 54th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clemente Benvido. Clemente Benvido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Canalla Fuego's Romeo Lon was substituted for Gian Leu. Gedeon Káposztás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andréas Linquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 91st minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Clemente Benvido to make any attempt to save it. Romeo Lon hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Grêmio Papão de WC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Canalla Fuego's much stronger midfield.
