An unexpectedly hard shot by Gedeon Káposztás in the 22nd minute of play forced Darwin Saville FC's goalkeeper Carman Tinsley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carman Tinsley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Grêmio Papão de WC booed when Darwin Saville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Glauco Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Jonasson in the 44th minute of play forced Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sture Jakobsson in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Grêmio Papão de WC's Geovanildo Zago. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gedeon Káposztás stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edson Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Tinsley having to interfere. Gedeon Káposztás took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carman Tinsley. Carman Tinsley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 59 minutes into the match, Gedeon Káposztás notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley. Carman Tinsley was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Grêmio Papão de WC's attentive Geovanildo Zago managed to snatch the ball when Sture Jakobsson made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Göran Jonasson got free with Andréas Linquist in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andréas Linquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brandon Barker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Gedeon Káposztás made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carman Tinsley was left in no man's land by his defense there! Göran Jonasson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andréas Linquist firmly grabbed it by the left post. 80 minutes in the game Glauco Prado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jan-Olof Kinell. 81 minutes into the match, Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Andréas Linquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Jonasson. Carman Tinsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gedeon Káposztás, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After taking down the ball on Grêmio Papão de WC's corner Gedeon Káposztás fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Carman Tinsley quite easily take care of the ball. After 90 minutes, Gedeon Káposztás made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Darwin Saville FC's Carman Tinsley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Papão de WC's Edson Faria got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grêmio Papão de WC had won after a very even match.
