Leopoldo Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Delin in the 9th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Albom in the 11th minute of play. Alfons Delin struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VfL Wolfsburg. Olle Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Meneses, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Patrick Albom came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the VfL Wolfsburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Albom couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, VfL Wolfsburg's Leopoldo Cerezo threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfons Delin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Delin came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Delin, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Kim Torstensson. 30 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Albom came free, but Leopoldo Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olle Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Paraíba in the 35th minute of the match. After 38 minutes VfL Wolfsburg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vicente Nogueira who took care of the corner kick. Leopoldo Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Delin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, 100 Chance's Leopoldo Cerezo got control of the ball when Jerry Fristedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Delin in the 51st minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Jerry Fristedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Leopoldo Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Delin, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Albom. In the 70th minute, Jerry Fristedt made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. 76 minutes into the game, VfL Wolfsburg's Alfons Delin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. VfL Wolfsburg made a substitution. Kenneth Wallander replaced Rasmus Backlund. A sloppy throw-in by Vicente Nogueira in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by VfL Wolfsburg's Yin Bing Ming. In the 84th minute Alfons Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Albom in the 94th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 98 minutes into the game, when Oscar Tande put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in 100 Chance fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! In the 101st minute there was a penalty for VfL Wolfsburg. Jerry Fristedt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leopoldo Cerezo. 7-3. There was no doubt that VfL Wolfsburg were the better team. VfL Wolfsburg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
