In the 6th minute Alfons Delin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy got control of the ball when Jerry Fristedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ludomil Osowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Jack Black hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Delin came free, but Édouard Mendy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute VfL Wolfsburg were awarded a corner. Jerry Fristedt went to the cornerflag to take it. VfL Wolfsburg's Jerry Fristedt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Édouard Mendy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th minute, Leopoldo Trigo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olle Tunander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience was convinced that Niceto Frichoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Tunander was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Jerry Fristedt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Édouard Mendy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Jerry Fristedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Édouard Mendy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Black in the 40th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Jack Black cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Olle Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Jack Black had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute Niceto Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Jack Black hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo CIMZ's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Delin in the 91st minute of play. When the match was over Flamengo CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VfL Wolfsburg throughout the match.
