Ernestina FC's Haroldo Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Salomon in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Racinguista F.C booed when Ernestina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Racinguista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Mena. Froilan Leoiar made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ernestina FC's Jorge Naike. After a defensive mix-up in Ernestina FC's zone, Eustacio Rosario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Quinten came out of the goal and Eustacio Rosario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute, Eustacio Rosario made a precise shot to the right of Haroldo Quinten. Ernestina FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.
