A collision led to Xanda FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Genílson Pontes hit a great ball. Patrik Øskan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto da Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 54 minutes, Xacintu Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Bucaramanga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xacintu Ribeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Bucaramanga players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
