The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Dolar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germán Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Malcolm Stenman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Turro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Germán Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Gervasi in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goal looked a bit too open when Amerigo Gervasi came free, but Germán Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Dale Dolar could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Germán Luz however easily saved by the left post. Deportivo Turro's Germán Luz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Turro from getting a goal against them. 17 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germán Luz. Deportivo Turro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dale Dolar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Malcolm Stenman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Ugutz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malcolm Stenman ran back to his position shaking his head. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Patricio Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Stenman in the 23rd minute of play. Germán Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 25th minute of the match. Malcolm Stenman scored 2-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Ugutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Abelardo Veloso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Wambasther Robben hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Al Horford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Ugutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Ponc came free, but Patricio Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Malcolm Stenman made the kick off in the second half. Germán Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Dolar in the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes in the game Wilton Queirós did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ezequiel Nicholas. If Malcolm Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal was substituted for Dale Dolar. In the 72nd minute Abelardo Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germán Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Horford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Patricio Ugutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amerigo Gervasi in the 81st minute of play forced Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper Germán Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germán Luz came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Amerigo Gervasi. But to his dismay, Amerigo Gervasi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Kaufman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Ugutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Stenman in the 94th minute. Barcellos Mineiro FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
