With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Recio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, BAŞBUĞ's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Linares came free, but Marco Recio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Radomir Grucza fired a really elegant long shot, but Marco Recio threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Gwidon Markowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sait Nursal in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute BAŞBUĞ were awarded a corner. Götz Ferdi went to the cornerflag to take it. After some careless play in the STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska defense, İlyas Tolga Kerimhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gwidon Markowski. The STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gwidon Markowski should have stopped the shot. After 39 played minutes STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Kazimierz von Buol-Schaudenstein. In the 43rd minute of the game Jerzy Nowak made a throw-in which Jakub Andrzejewski played forward. Silas Linares's late challenge caught a BAŞBUĞ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silas Linares helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sait Nursal was the one to do the kick off. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
