When Jost Egli fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denti della Vecchia's protests and gave Jost Egli a yellow card for diving instead. Lars Setz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Salvator in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, A. Ramdhan Patirajawane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol made a huge save. After the first half A. Korn were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Diaz to make the kick off. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Ramdhan Patirajawane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. M. In the 92nd minute, Tadeu Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Inocencio Marin fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denti della Vecchia's protests and gave Inocencio Marin a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A. Korn had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
