After 9 minutes of play, Academia FC's Elmo Jaanovits made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anis Achour was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute Tacettin Umay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Balkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Academia FC's Elmo Jaanovits ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anis Achour. Anis Achour yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 29th match minute, Symba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Queirós to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmo Jaanovits in the 32nd minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Elmo Jaanovits took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Anis Achour to make any attempt to save it. Walery Balkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Umay in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás San Juan in the 39th minute of play forced Academia FC's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elmo Jaanovits to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tacettin Umay came free, but Walery Balkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Elmo Jaanovits got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Academia FC made a substitution. Tacettin Umay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Walery Balkiewicz made a huge save.
