With his leg Bart Basson managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Augustinas Gavorskis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bart Basson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 30 played minutes Deportivo Medievales got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Gar. Robert Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The wind increased when Augustinas Gavorskis made the kick off in the second half. 64 minutes into the game, Flavio Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robert Abbondanzieri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Medievales's Eriberto Dalmai was substituted for Jeremías Tindall. Deportivo Medievales made a substitution. Eleuterio Ovando replaced Gustavo Gar. After a rather tough play, Vamo A Calmarno's Doyle Quenneville got a free kick in the 70th minute. Deportivo Medievales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Rainerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Nino Manfredi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bart Basson having to make a save. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamo A Calmarno's goalkeeper Bart Basson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vamo A Calmarno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Sazon was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Medievales's players had a chance to rest. Eleuterio Ovando made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vamo A Calmarno's Doyle Quenneville. Vamo A Calmarno were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo Medievales's much stronger midfield.
