Olgierd Walczak made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Charilaos Dimitrakis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Moberg in the 14th minute of play forced Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Valerios Paboulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Amfithea Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Rollheiser came free, but Valerios Paboulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valerios Paboulis. Valerios Paboulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Muñoz in the 24th minute of play. Valerios Paboulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Moberg in the 26th minute of play. Fcion C.A.'s Olgierd Walczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Fcion C.A. from getting a goal against them. Panos Kavouroglou hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Amfithea Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Yalavaç came free, but Valerios Paboulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olgierd Walczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Psiloglou, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The supporters of Amfithea Hotspur booed when Fcion C.A. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Marinos Valassakos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Olgierd Walczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marinos Valassakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Olgierd Walczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Sebastião Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valerios Paboulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sebastião Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valerios Paboulis was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konstantinos Psiloglou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Amfithea Hotspur's Panos Kavouroglou got a free kick in the 78th minute. Benjamim Rollheiser took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valerios Paboulis. Sebastião Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Valerios Paboulis made a huge save. Olgierd Walczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charilaos Dimitrakis in the 96th minute of the match.
