After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Farstad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legia Stavanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Farstad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Farstad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Albarran having to interfere. In the 8th minute Comunardo Ranalli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Orest Bredun hit a great ball. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sahat Levandy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lulina FC's Aníbal Albarran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Farstad in the 12th minute of play. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邱寒骏, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When Lulina FC's Ciro Toninelli in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legia Stavanger's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Toninelli in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Slavcho Kanov saved Legia Stavanger from getting behind. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Toninelli in the 21st minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Amerigo Maranzano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Slavcho Kanov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 24 minutes into the game, Gjermund Viste lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Aníbal Albarran. Daniel Farstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aníbal Albarran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lulina FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Farstad in the 34th minute of play forced Lulina FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Albarran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Lulina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Farstad came free, but Aníbal Albarran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Toninelli came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Di Piazza came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gjermund Viste in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aníbal Albarran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of Lulina FC booed when Legia Stavanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mats Lillegård didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65th play minutes Gjermund Viste shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Aníbal Albarran and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice moves Flavio Di Piazza could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Slavcho Kanov however easily saved by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Slavcho Kanov successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Atroce in the 86th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Atroce came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Lulina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Comunardo Ranalli didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Legia Stavanger fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Legia Stavanger's Gjermund Viste looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Legia Stavanger's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
