In the 13thth minute of the game Arne Lundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 福建宁德活塞队's Fred Bonk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 齐梁洋 made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Nusnäs IF's André Luís King. Clodoveo Rojas made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when 柯默渊 sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute Bai Peng Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bai Peng Ning scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred Bonk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Bai Peng Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bonk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Bonk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Peng Ning in the 30th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 方桑正 to make the kick off. Fred Bonk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bai Peng Ning in the 60th minute.
