Mátyás Borbás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Karol Kopacz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karol Kopacz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mátyás Borbás went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Gortaty's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Fabrizio came free, but Karol Kopacz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Camillo Fabrizio made a precise shot to the right of Karol Kopacz. Gortaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Luisito Pistol scored 0-4 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karol Kopacz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Mátyás Borbás had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karol Kopacz. After some careless play in the Gortaty defense, Dudu de Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karol Kopacz. The Gortaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karol Kopacz should have stopped the shot. When Luisito Pistol came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the ARS FUTEBOL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Pistol couldn't finish the play. The supporters of ARS FUTEBOL booed when Gortaty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartlomiej Dlugi didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARS FUTEBOL's Mátyás Borbás got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Samuca de Medeiros notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Gortaty's Karol Kopacz. Karol Kopacz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dudu de Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. ARS FUTEBOL made a substitution. Pedro Medeiros replaced Dudu de Queiroz. The Gortaty players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ARS FUTEBOL were winning 0-8.

The long shot by Samuca de Medeiros in the 51st minute really tested Karol Kopacz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Gortaty booed when ARS FUTEBOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Grez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gortaty's Karol Kopacz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Gortaty from getting a goal against them.
