A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dinei Paraibano hit a great ball. In the 6th minute Faustão Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão Proença in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuno Heiberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes Pendotiba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fausto Orlondon who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Pendotiba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cristian Hoffmann hit a great ball. Pendotiba's Kuno Heiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Proença in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Gurdurão's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Baraquiel came free, but Natã Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gurdurão getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Fausto Orlondon hit a great ball. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Pedrão Mala advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 29th minute. Faustão Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Elton Titos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurdurão's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elton Titos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Pendotiba booed when Gurdurão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Ricardinho Trigo in the 39th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Natã Massa's left hand side. Faustão Proença recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Massa made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Cristian Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Faustão Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Gurdurão were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Frederico de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Elton Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kuno Heiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Pastor Baraquiel made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gurdurão's Natã Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustão Proença in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kuno Heiberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 66 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Paraibano. Gurdurão's Fernandinho Cruz was substituted for Evaristo Hurtado. Dinei Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Faustão Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuno Heiberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Faustão Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pendotiba's Kuno Heiberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natã Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Baraquiel in the 74th minute of play. The nice shot from Faustão Proença in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Kuno Heiberg had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pendotiba! After having played for 81 minutes, Allan Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendotiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gurdurão made a substitution. Silvinho Mesquita replaced Faustão Proença. Gurdurão's Patrick Sandström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dinei Paraibano in the 84 minute of the game. Silvinho Mesquitas short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Kuno Heiberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Pendotiba's zone, Silvinho Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuno Heiberg came out of the goal and Silvinho Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Natã Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Baraquiel in the 96th minute of the match. In the 98th minute, Pastor Baraquiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
