In the 5th match minute, 25 de Abril Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yao Ang Feng to maneuver through the defense. 25 de Abril Futbol Club were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after BANDOLEIROS osasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Glauco Arantes took the corner. The corner ended in Glauco Arantes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BANDOLEIROS osasco's Karl Pilgren did a great save. Elpidio Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Felipe Berdoi got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Sandström in the 12th minute of play forced 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalkeeper Elpidio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Beat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Severiano Oliviero kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Billy Sandström scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Beat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elpidio Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Sandström in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Billy Sandström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elpidio Beat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Sandström in the 34th minute of play forced 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalkeeper Elpidio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Beat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Sandström in the 40th minute of play. Elpidio Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, BANDOLEIROS osasco's Cresenciano Camino got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half BANDOLEIROS osasco were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Billy Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Beat came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by BANDOLEIROS osasco's Billy Sandström. But to his dismay, Billy Sandström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Paul Crouch in the 62nd minute of play forced 25 de Abril Futbol Club's goalkeeper Elpidio Beat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Peter Paul Crouch managed to get in a good position for a shot. BANDOLEIROS osasco's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Paul Crouch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Beat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elpidio Beat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Paul Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Peter Paul Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Beat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Peter Paul Crouch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Beat was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Yao Ang Feng hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the 25 de Abril Futbol Club defense, Peter Paul Crouch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Beat. The 25 de Abril Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Beat should have stopped the shot. Peter Paul Crouch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elpidio Beat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Peter Paul Crouch put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Elpidio Beat. 25 de Abril Futbol Club's Elpidio Beat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save 25 de Abril Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. BANDOLEIROS osasco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
