Ulryk Merski took the corner. Ulryk Merski made a great header on 2kC Poznań's corner, it was just that Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th minute, one of Garlic Eaters:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Garlic Eaters. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for 2kC Poznań. Ulryk Merski stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nikolay Bonkov. 0-1. With a little luck, 2kC Poznań's Tadeusz Rutkowski got control of the ball when Justin Collingwood tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Stanislaw Kisielka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 28th minute of play forced 2kC Poznań's goalkeeper Tadeusz Rutkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Hanley hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Pusiak came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeusz Rutkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 39th minute. Jozef Lewandowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Rutkowski made a huge save. Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Dylla in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Garlic Eaters from getting a goal against them. Nikolay Bonkov came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by 2kC Poznań's Lucjan Sokol. But to his dismay, Lucjan Sokol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Tadeusz Rutkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Altunbaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The 2kC Poznań supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 2kC Poznań would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
