Timmy Standaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waud Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The corner led OMONOIA's Eduardo Zanette to fire away a dangerous shot which Hannes Dresdner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, OMONOIA's goal looked a bit too open when Bodo Rodel came free, but Timmy Standaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
