The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Buhagiar in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes of play, THE LEGEND COME BACK's Joselito Gimenez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 7 minutes into the game, THE LEGEND COME BACK's Joselito Gimenez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 10 minutes, Noel Buhagiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE LEGEND COME BACK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Buhagiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Oranil's Juan Velloso got control of the ball when Joselito Gimenez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joselito Gimenez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Joselito Gimenez slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 19th minute. Edmílson Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th play minute Joselito Gimenez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Velloso. 5-0. Habib Kutuner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Saldanha in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Korkutalp Özguven came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sérgio das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Viana to maneuver through the defense. Juan Velloso made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Joselito Gimenez sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, THE LEGEND COME BACK's Juan Velloso threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Korkutalp Özguven, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Buhagiar in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Noel Buhagiar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Juan Velloso made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Joselito Gimenez could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Juan Velloso however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. Uğurcan Çağaçar took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Velloso. Juan Velloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Juan Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korkutalp Özguven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Buhagiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kiko Teixeira during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of THE LEGEND COME BACK booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joselito Gimenez in the 64th minute of play. When Sérgio das Neves fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oranil's protests and gave Sérgio das Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Juan Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Buhagiar in the 67th minute of play. Juan Velloso came out of the goal and Joselito Gimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oranil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joselito Gimenez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 84th minute Noel Buhagiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Velloso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joselito Gimenez went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute, Noel Buhagiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE LEGEND COME BACK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. 92 minutes into the match, Korkutalp Özguven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Velloso. Oranil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korkutalp Özguven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korkutalp Özguven in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that THE LEGEND COME BACK were the better team. THE LEGEND COME BACK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
