Niclas Galle came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario. But to his dismay, Lucas Alario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 10 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Rollo Kildemose. CheersIsland FC's Niclas Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Alario in the 13th minute of play. When CheersIsland FC's Jose Manuel González in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalie prevented a goal. Birger Vollander hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Lucas Alario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 played minutes, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Rollo Kildemose shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niclas Galle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.D Atlético Villa Gesell reached it. Ildefonso Aritza hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Freddie Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddie Rosendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Severo Elequemedo made a huge save. When Pär Lundkvist fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CheersIsland FC's protests and gave Pär Lundkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CheersIsland FC's Pär Lundkvist got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ruhi Ongay hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Alario in the 43rd minute of play forced CheersIsland FC's goalkeeper Niclas Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Rollo Kildemose got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Manuel González to strike the kick off in the second half. Birger Vollander struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Severo Elequemedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CheersIsland FC. 57 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Rosendahl came free, but Severo Elequemedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CheersIsland FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Robert Renan hit a great ball. Severo Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddie Rosendahl in the 64th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Mascovescu to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lucas Alario managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Alario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niclas Galle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xabel Briceño during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucas Alario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Lucas Alario got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Rosendahl in the 93rd minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Severo Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
