Fulvio De Marco hit a great ball. The supporters of Diamond Football Club booed when Lupi Grigi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Gismondi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamond Football Club's Luiz Fábio Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bianco Sforza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rui Peixoto firmly grabbed it by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, Diamond Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Dams came free, but Rui Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Mathias Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto got control of the ball when Felix Oier tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Dams in the 20th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Rui Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Oier received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rui Peixoto came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Oier slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Oier in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Lupi Grigi's Bianco Sforza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamond Football Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Frederik Dams scored to the left of an out of position Rui Peixoto, making the score, 3-0. Rui Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diamond Football Club's Rui Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Oier in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Petrucci got free with Rui Peixoto in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Süleyman Seba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frederik Dams made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Oier in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Peixoto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Diamond Football Club getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rafa Marques hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Rafa Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Dams, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Rui Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Oier in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Bianco Sforza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 69th minute, Süleyman Seba made a precise shot to the right of Rui Peixoto. Diamond Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Puddu in the 74th minute of play forced Diamond Football Club's goalkeeper Rui Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Diamond Football Club defense, Carlo Puddu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rui Peixoto. The Diamond Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rui Peixoto should have stopped the shot. Lupi Grigi made a substitution. Concetto Marcelli replaced Teobaldo Cordarin. Rui Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Petrucci in the 81st minute of the match. Rui Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Sforza in the 82nd minute of play. Rui Peixoto came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lupi Grigi's Carlo Puddu. But to his dismay, Carlo Puddu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After 86 minutes of play, Lupi Grigi's Carlo Puddu made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rui Peixoto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rui Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Oier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lupi Grigi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
