In the 4th minute Ettore Varglien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Ettore Varglien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Varglien, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 9th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidal Silvestre to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Varglien, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Jacobo Romo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore Varglien in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Vidal Silvestre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Orlondon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Varglien came free, but Jacobo Romo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PICCOLE PESTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Dossena in the 19th minute. The PICCOLE PESTI fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when PICCOLE PESTI's Kasey Dawson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacobo Romo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Varglien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Orlondon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Miguel Orlondon came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Albino Oso. But to his dismay, Albino Oso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 37th minute Vidal Silvestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Ettore Varglien notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Jacobo Romo. Jacobo Romo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 41 minutes, Fortunato Brini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PICCOLE PESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fortunato Brini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Gaizko in the 44th minute of the match. Bernardino Vedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Romo having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardino Vedillo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE booed when PICCOLE PESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Vidal Silvestre notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of PICCOLE PESTI's Miguel Orlondon. Miguel Orlondon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Bernardino Vedillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PICCOLE PESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Vedillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Romo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fertus Oropesa's late challenge caught a PICCOLE PESTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fertus Oropesa helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PICCOLE PESTI booed when CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fertus Oropesa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ettore Varglien might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Romo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ettore Varglien ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Varglien got free with Jacobo Romo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PICCOLE PESTI made a substitution. Amedeo Giacomini replaced Ettore Varglien. Amedeo Giacomini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jacobo Romo made a huge save. Jacobo Romo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amedeo Giacomini in the 83rd minute. Jacobo Romo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Amedeo Giacomini came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Romo could save by the left post. Fortunato Brini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Romo having to interfere. PICCOLE PESTI's Armando Corna was substituted for Kasey Dawson. Jacobo Romo was a little too slow when Bernardino Vedillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 5-3. Jacobo Romo came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by PICCOLE PESTI's Amedeo Giacomini. But to his dismay, Amedeo Giacomini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
