Sonny Karlberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. American Top Team's Shawn Ashby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Nordlund in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Sonny Karlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harald Ennegren in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shawn Ashby saved American Top Team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Harald Ennegren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Shawn Ashby. The goal made the score 0-8. 82 minutes in the game Winford Craig did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arnoldo Short. Harald Ennegren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shawn Ashby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Harald Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harald Ennegren came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Shawn Ashby could save by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Vejbystrand left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than American Top Team.
