An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Raschke in the 5th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Primitivo Fernanco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Imbor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes of play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Fernanco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Raschke came free, but Primitivo Fernanco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Kacper Charamut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Charamut in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Tanek Bielejewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 36th minute Tadeusz Raschke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Fernanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Fernanco came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Grasshoppers Klucze's Kacper Charamut. But to his dismay, Kacper Charamut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Alfredo Paraíba's late challenge caught a Grasshoppers Klucze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Alfredo Paraíba got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Bartolo Nuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Bielejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Boca Juniors were awarded a corner. Orlando Lluques went to the cornerflag to take it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Nuno made a kick off. Grasshoppers Klucze's Hugon Imbor got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugon Imbor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Primitivo Fernanco made a huge save. Tanek Bielejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Nuno in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Ladislao Bertran made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tanek Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Bertran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boca Juniors's Maximo Bordat was substituted for Bartolo Nuno. Boca Juniors's Epifanio Medardo was substituted for Samuel Emesto. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boca Juniors! The goalkeeper, Primitivo Fernanco, was totally fooled by Grasshoppers Klucze's Tadeusz Raschke, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hugon Imbor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Primitivo Fernanco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Primitivo Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Charamut in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Primitivo Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugon Imbor. Tanek Bielejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepito Santalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Hieronim Skrzypek in the 90th minute really tested Primitivo Fernanco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Franzik in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Fernanco saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Igor Praski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Primitivo Fernanco when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
