Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalmacio Vermudo started the match with the kick off. Alexander Cheetham's late challenge caught a Grêmio Santo André's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Cheetham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Clifford to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Grêmio Santo André's goalkeeper Ladislav Telepovský had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Patton. With splendid footwork Will Patton arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Santo André's Wellington Vaz got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ladislav Telepovský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Rhodes in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Santo André's goalkeeper Ladislav Telepovský, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match Leicester Lions got a corner. Grêmio Santo André's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastien Clifford ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sebastien Clifford got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ladislav Telepovský quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Patton in the 22nd minute of play forced Grêmio Santo André's goalkeeper Ladislav Telepovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Nascimento came free, but Grant Blacknell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislav Telepovský made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Will Patton sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Grêmio Santo André getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Marinho hit a great ball. The long shot by Sebastien Clifford in the 29th minute really tested Ladislav Telepovský's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ladislav Telepovský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stu Hislop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şükür Hagi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ladislav Telepovský firmly grabbed it by the left post. Grêmio Santo André's Ladislav Telepovský played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Rhodes in the 43rd minute of play. Ernani Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Blacknell having to interfere. Michal Budzyn hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Nascimento in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Şükür Hagi made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Grêmio Santo André's goal looked a bit too open when Will Patton came free, but Ladislav Telepovský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wellington Vaz got free with Grant Blacknell in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ladislav Telepovský showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Patton, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Ladislav Telepovský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Patton in the 61st minute of the match. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Leicester Lions. Sebastien Clifford stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ladislav Telepovský. 2-0. 78 minutes into the match, Grêmio Santo André's goal looked a bit too open when Camron Rhodes came free, but Ladislav Telepovský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Tony Cheeseman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leicester Lions made a substitution. Alexander-James Ford replaced Michal Budzyn. After 81 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Tony Cheeseman. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jeferson Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio Santo André's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeferson Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Blacknell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Grêmio Santo André getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Arnaldo Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 90th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Plučinský to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes, Benedito Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio Santo André and the Leicester Lions players grew even worse after the yellow card.
