Florin Susara went to the cornerflag to take it. Zézinho Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Martins in the 8th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Cido Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Sjöö in the 23rd minute of play. George Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curt Montes in the 32nd minute of the match. Zézinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret got free with Zézinho Simões in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MarquinhosEC's Zézinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Telge77's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Susara came free, but George Sandell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Telge77's Patrick Martinsson was substituted for Adam Jelm. Patric Lindmark hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Zézinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Alessandro do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas was substituted for Alessandro do Valle. Telge77's Jonas Tunander was substituted for Jim Sjögren. MarquinhosEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florin Susara in the 71st minute. Telge77's Herman Lagerberg was substituted for Jarl Sjöö. 75 minutes into the game, Patric Lindmark threw the ball into play from the sideline. MarquinhosEC's Barrie Deacon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 76 minutes into the game, MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. George Sandell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret in the 79th minute of the match. Vágner Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. George Sandell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
