When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Nicasio Raymond sped through El fortinero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Cedro. In the 33rd minute Jefferson Farfán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Cedro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Nicasio Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th match minute, El fortinero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Ciano to maneuver through the defense. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after El fortinero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jefferson Farfán took the corner. The corner led Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Cedro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elias Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Martxot in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Nicanor Micael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Arnedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The El fortinero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Micael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, El fortinero's goalkeeper Ivan Cedro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ibarra Montenegro. After 58 minutes of play, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Cedro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A collision led to El fortinero getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jairo Liberto hit a great ball. Nicasio Raymond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ivan Cedro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Liberto made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Ivan Pio. Jefferson Farfán took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Cedro. Ivan Cedro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after El fortinero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jefferson Farfán took the corner. 83 minutes into the game, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Nicasio Raymond nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With his leg Ivan Cedro managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jefferson Farfán in the 89th minute.
