In the 25th minute Rolland Hobbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petras Anusauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aureliano Negro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo got a corner. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Oxarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's corner Teofilo Oxarra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Wilhelm quite easily take care of the ball. Godfredo Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dario Wilhelm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Petras Anusauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Sha Qian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Nuñez in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Godfredo Nuñez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dario Wilhelm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Many of Cascade Park West's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Cascade Park West may have spent more time on the ball, but C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
