In the 20th minute Amerigo Costanzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Muzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Gösta Giliusson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amerigo Muzi. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amerigo Muzi should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Carlos Alagoano during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
