After 26 minutes of play, Atlético Grau Piura's Fabian Oterino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ted Kobbeltvedt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domenico Calcio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ted Kobbeltvedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Fabian Oterino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Grau Piura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Oterino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Fabian Oterino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Kobbeltvedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Oterino in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Oterino in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ted Kobbeltvedt saved FC Drik from getting behind. In the 40th minute Fabian Oterino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tartalo Delatorre made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Gunvald Mitens sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Oterino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Oterino in the 43rd minute of the match. Fabian Oterino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to make a save. After the first half Atlético Grau Piura were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernst Barskov made a kick off. Lucas Drevsgård kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Drik's goalkeeper Ted Kobbeltvedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atlético Grau Piura were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after FC Drik's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leobardo Tojedo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Leobardo Tojedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ted Kobbeltvedt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, FC Drik's Calvin Townsley got a free kick in the 66th minute. Atlético Grau Piura made a substitution. Junior Quintana replaced Fabian Oterino. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Drik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leobardo Tojedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Atlético Grau Piura's players had a chance to rest. Junior Quintana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to make a save. Atlético Grau Piura's Milio Izaga was substituted for Domenico Calcio. Calvin Townsley kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Junior Quintana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Kobbeltvedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Junior Quintana in the 85th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético Grau Piura would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
