Borja Yebra came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dimosthenis Mallios could save by the left post. Jaroslaw Siedlecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyriakos Theodoridis in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Przemyslaw Kiepski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Feliks Bronder quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sotiris Tevekelis, made in the 44th minute of the game. After 45 played minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Braniște. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyriakos Theodoridis to make the kick off. Ciro Bernal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Stathis Leontiou was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Cyprian Tepper made a precise shot to the right of Dimosthenis Mallios. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Dimosthenis Mallios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borja Yebra in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Alekos Gaitanopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's supporters rose to their feet, but Alekos Gaitanopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaroslaw Siedlecki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd match minute, MZ Wodzisław Śląski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyprian Tepper to maneuver through the defense.
