But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Quaresma couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Stefano Ascani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Besim Orgen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codrin Dobrea was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Bonanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Dobrea in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Kulp were awarded a corner. Baysal Temizsoy went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kulp's Baysal Temizsoy to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Bonanni despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Radomil Soliwoda might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Bonanni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radomil Soliwoda ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 played minutes BRAL VAL got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Pennetta. With his leg Besim Orgen managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when BRAL VAL's Piotr Nalaskowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Codrin Dobrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kulp's supporters rose to their feet, but Codrin Dobrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Bonanni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
