Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Reyes in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Nieto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Manoel Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Nevada Etxeberria reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Orlando Chepe. The goal made the score 1-0. Orlando Chepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nevada Etxeberria, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 23 minutes ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Emmanuel who took care of the corner kick. Mario Emmanuel made a great header on Hydra's corner, it was just that ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Saturnino Nieto managed to reach the ball for a save. Hydra's Orlando Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nevada Etxeberria in the 33rd minute of play. Saturnino Nieto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Saturnino Nieto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Emmanuel in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of Hydra booed when ALPUJARRAS LIBRE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmai Montaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Nieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Emmanuel in the 43rd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Mario Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Nieto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mario Emmanuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Manoel Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Nieto was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Hydra's goal looked a bit too open when Nevada Etxeberria came free, but Orlando Chepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Hydra's zone, Lucio Toxeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Chepe came out of the goal and Lucio Toxeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Manoel Xavier notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Saturnino Nieto. Saturnino Nieto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manoel Xavier struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Saturnino Nieto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hydra. ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Tello Lopez was substituted for Lauren Verges. Hydra made a substitution. Laurin Roca replaced Camilo Caradaro. Hydra made a substitution. Domingos Taurino replaced David Beckham. In the 71stth minute of the game Manoel Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ALPUJARRAS LIBRE's Saturnino Nieto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 72nd play minutes Manoel Xavier shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Saturnino Nieto and just under the crossbar into goal. Manoel Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Nieto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Ladio in the 80th minute of play. Hydra's Orlando Chepe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Cayuela in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Hydra getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Leopoldo Ladio hit a great ball. The Hydra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hydra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
