The crowd rose to their feet as Tottenham Hotspurs's Ambrosio Dominix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petr Čech. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pranas Užkuraitis in the 29th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barr Eira kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Batalhão do Peçanha getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Barr Eira hit a great ball. Petr Čech was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ambrosio Dominix showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 39 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Dominix to make the kick off. Tottenham Hotspurs's attentive Ahmet Tolga Fidan managed to snatch the ball when Barr Eira made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Batalhão do Peçanha's Barr Eira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Petr Čech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Dominix's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Vânderson Vasconcelos came free, but Damián Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damián Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pranas Užkuraitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tottenham Hotspurs booed when Batalhão do Peçanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Enol ran back to his position shaking his head. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Enol in the 86th minute of play. Damián Martínez made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Arnaldo Tróia sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Eduardo Enol made a precise shot to the right of Petr Čech. Batalhão do Peçanha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Batalhão do Peçanha's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
