After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Lakhdar Guendouz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmiyah Power's supporters rose to their feet, but Lakhdar Guendouz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Werner Kamps breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boncho Vlúchkov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomiro Clementi in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute Christiaan Schipper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boncho Vlúchkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Christiaan Schipper rounded Salmiyah Power's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salmiyah Power's goalkeeper Boncho Vlúchkov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Kevin Arnolds got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Werner Kamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lakhdar Guendouz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 22nd minute Lakhdar Guendouz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Kamps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Salmiyah Power's Arsenio Claus in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bierunese's goalie prevented a goal. Salmiyah Power's Lakhdar Guendouz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boncho Vlúchkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Schipper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Kacper Koperski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Werner Kamps was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Boncho Vlúchkov made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Baldomiro Clementi sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan Schipper came free, but Boncho Vlúchkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Arnolds stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Werner Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lakhdar Guendouz got free with Werner Kamps in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 59 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Arnolds came free, but Boncho Vlúchkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bierunese's Werner Kamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Guendouz in the 60th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Arsenio Claus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bierunese's Werner Kamps was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Salmiyah Power's Boncho Vlúchkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Alvarez in the 67th minute of play. Lakhdar Guendouz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Werner Kamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salmiyah Power's Noureddine Adjani was substituted for Jeremias Ganix. Salmiyah Power's Hamid Ahmed was substituted for Brahim Kerkar. Boncho Vlúchkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Clementi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bierunese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Arnolds in the 75th minute. The corner led Bierunese's Kevin Arnolds to fire away a dangerous shot which Boncho Vlúchkov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Bierunese getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Donato Alvarez hit a great ball. Werner Kamps made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lakhdar Guendouz sent off a good shot on target. Christiaan Schipper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boncho Vlúchkov having to interfere. Lakhdar Guendouz charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lakhdar Guendouz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Salmiyah Power got a freekick which was hit by Lakhdar Guendouz. Boncho Vlúchkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Arnolds, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Donato Alvarez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
