The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcell Pécsi. In the 11th minute Benito Laurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Bure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folke Bure made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marcell Pécsi sent off a good shot on target. Matias Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villiam Tholsson in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Clodoveo Baldovino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matias Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Tomasson in the 25th minute of play. Matias Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Tholsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. North Pole Kickers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andréas Åkerman in the 29th minute. Folke Bure made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marcell Pécsi sent off a good shot on target. Matias Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Tomasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Backman in the 37th minute of play forced ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goalkeeper Matias Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Marcell Pécsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Folke Bure narrowly saved just below the crossbar. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after North Pole Kickers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rüknettin Aysan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Rüknettin Aysan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folke Bure quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 43 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Giuliano Basso. In the 44th minute of the match Andréas Åkerman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Čech showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benito Laurin during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Benito Laurin got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half North Pole Kickers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdemar Tomasson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, North Pole Kickers's Matias Čech threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Villiam Tholsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Andréas Åkerman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matias Čech quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 57 played minutes ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ got a freekick which was hit by Alisson De Gasperi. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Adriano Schmidt was substituted for Cristian Paraense. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Alisson De Gasperi got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Andréas Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Pole Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Andréas Åkerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Čech breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute of the match Peter Arvidsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Čech skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Giuliano Basso got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 71st minute, Giuliano Basso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind North Pole Kickers's goalkeeper Folke Bure, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Folke Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Paulo Pombal in the 79th minute of the match. Marcell Pécsi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Folke Bure having to make a save. In the 82nd match minute, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuliano Basso to maneuver through the defense. Andréas Åkerman, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Valdemar Tomasson fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Pole Kickers's protests and gave Valdemar Tomasson a yellow card for diving instead. Giuliano Basso lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. North Pole Kickers's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 90th minute of the game, when Benedykt Niezywy after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal. Benedykt Niezywy was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Matias Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Backman in the 92nd minute of play. Michael Ahlbeck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Čech came out and tried to block the shot, but Michael Ahlbeck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 95th minute. When the match was over North Pole Kickers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ throughout the match.
