In the 14th minute Merih Bengi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merih Bengi might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johnny Banks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Merih Bengi ran back to his position shaking his head. Johnny Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merih Bengi in the 16th minute of play. Not Today's Mehmet Hamdi Tekiner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Otto Bern in the 24 minute of the game. The supporters of Malmö White Knights booed when Not Today was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Hamdi Tekiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö White Knights's zone, Merih Bengi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Banks came out of the goal and Merih Bengi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johnny Banks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merih Bengi in the 30th minute of the match. Johnny Banks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merih Bengi in the 35th minute. The supporters of Malmö White Knights booed when Not Today was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merih Bengi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roby Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malmö White Knights's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Merih Bengi scored to the left of an out of position Johnny Banks, making the score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roby Baggio was the one to do the kick off. Güner Uludoğan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elvijs Presley in the 53rd minute. If Merih Bengi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merih Bengi in the 58th minute of play forced Malmö White Knights's goalkeeper Johnny Banks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arcan Şevket hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Not Today's Wasyl Fetor was substituted for Ahmet Nedim Yarkın. Not Today made a substitution. Gilbert Reix replaced Merih Bengi. After a rather tough play, Malmö White Knights's Roby Baggio got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Gilbert Reix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Johnny Banks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johnny Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Fetor in the 71st minute of play. Elvijs Presley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Güner Uludoğan came out and tried to block the shot, but Elvijs Presley slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute, Gilbert Reix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Not Today fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 80th minute Wasyl Fetor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Not Today's Mehmet Hamdi Tekiner got a free kick in the 81st minute. Johnny Banks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Reix in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gilbert Reix's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnny Banks was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Johnny Banks came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Not Today's Gilbert Reix. But to his dismay, Gilbert Reix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Malmö White Knights's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
