The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugenio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Seco in the 3rd minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Liborius Müller came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Flatline Zombies were awarded a corner. Finn Neeser went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Finn Neeser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eugenio Asier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Finn Neeser succeeded in the game's 9th minute to get real power on a long shot . CERPA's Eugenio Asier hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-1! Felipe Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Armağan Mukremin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Flatline Zombies's goalkeeper Armağan Mukremin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Roldan. 23 minutes into the match, Victoriano Tonete dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armağan Mukremin, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Victoriano Tonete left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Efrain Roldan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Armağan Mukremin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Paulo Seco put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eugenio Asier. The supporters of CERPA booed when Flatline Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Della Rossa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Flatline Zombies's Levent Erkinay in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CERPA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Paulo Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Roldan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Victoriano Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CERPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Tonete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eugenio Asier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Seco's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Paulo Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CERPA's Eugenio Asier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Flatline Zombies made a substitution. Edmondo Conti replaced Levent Erkinay. Flatline Zombies's Edmondo Conti got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, Flatline Zombies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Imbach to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Leon Kalb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Asier was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, CERPA could leave the field as winners, despite Flatline Zombies having more of the ball for most of the match.
