The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Natalio Mazuste advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Tartalo made a great header on Soroca F.C.'s corner, it was just that CERPA's Eugenio Asier managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Tonete got free with Dan Wennerqvist in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victoriano Tonete struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dan Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CERPA. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Espadas in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Asier saved CERPA from getting behind. In the 25thth minute of the game Adrián Espadas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CERPA's Eugenio Asier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrián Espadas in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Asier saved CERPA from getting behind. Eugenio Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 28 minutes into the match, CERPA's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lano came free, but Eugenio Asier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Adrián Espadas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugenio Asier was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Adrián Espadas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERPA's goalkeeper Eugenio Asier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CERPA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Asier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Adrián Espadas took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Eugenio Asier to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Adrián Espadas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adrián Espadas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soroca F.C.'s Godofredo Quilino was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. 62 minutes into the game, Răzvan Necula lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Eugenio Asier. In the 67th minute of the match, Răzvan Necula tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugenio Asier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dan Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Răzvan Necula managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soroca F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Necula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugenio Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Asier having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iordanis Karatzaferis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Soroca F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iordanis Karatzaferis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 95 minutes into the game, one of Soroca F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dan Wennerqvist had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Su Chuan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Soroca F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
