Anthonio Pijps lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Wesselbend's Anthonio Pijps got a free kick in the 12th minute. Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Leobardo in the 13th minute of play. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benard Ngamta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Van den Plas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jurgen Goris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jurgen Goris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tymoteusz Misiorowski in the 39th minute of play. Jonáš Baroš charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonáš Baroš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Dexiators booed when Wesselbend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonáš Baroš didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Wesselbend's Benard Ngamta made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Lindgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
