Matthias Lindgren had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Iorgu Bulă's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Matthias Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Lauaxeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goalkeeper Matthias Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Lauaxeta. The Dexiators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthias Lindgren should have stopped the shot. Mac Gordon lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Luciano Lauaxeta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Matthias Lindgren made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Lauaxeta made a kick off. Matthias Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinus Westerink in the 51st minute of the match. Ove Hökqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a huge save. Matthias Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Teodoro Leobardo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Dexiators's Matthias Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Bertin in the 89th minute of play.
