The supporters of Wesselbend booed when Dynamo Blitz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Novăceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Van Hemel in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Wesselbend got a freekick which was hit by Benard Ngamta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benard Ngamta in the 11th minute of play forced Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Eliodor Novăceanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Blitz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wesselbend the free kick. After 19 played minutes Dynamo Blitz got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Novăceanu. After having played for 19 minutes, Jonáš Baroš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wesselbend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonáš Baroš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurgen Goris was a little too slow when Victoriano Bertin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Dynamo Blitz's goal looked a bit too open when Grégoire Caamaño came free, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris got control of the ball when Marinus Westerink tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Hamir Kang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurgen Goris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marinus Westerink. After a rather tough play, Wesselbend's Mario Van den Plas got a free kick in the 45th minute. Iorgu Bulă struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jurgen Goris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Blitz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Huguet made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Akkerman came free, but Jurgen Goris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Wesselbend defense, Victoriano Bertin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jurgen Goris. The Wesselbend fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jurgen Goris should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Luciano Lauaxeta sped through Wesselbend's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jurgen Goris. In the 66th minute Luciano Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurgen Goris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesselbend's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Bertin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 84 minutes into the match, Dynamo Blitz's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Van Hemel came free, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Wesselbend's Grégoire Caamaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjeerd Zwaanswijk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dan Van Hemel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjeerd Zwaanswijk having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Dynamo Blitz's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Everardo Huguet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jurgen Goris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Bertin in the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wesselbend players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dynamo Blitz.
