Vladislav Maksimychev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 22 minutes of play, Днепр ФК's Ralf Rapp made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Nesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Днепр ФК were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Gep FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erwan Carnot took the corner. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Gep FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Днепр ФК:s goal. Saul Nesto went to the wrong direction when Erwan Carnot was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Calisto in the 33rd minute of play forced Gep FC's goalkeeper Saul Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Днепр ФК's goalkeeper Vladislav Maksimychev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Lizardi. Saul Nesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dmitriy Bogaenko in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Днепр ФК got a freekick which was hit by Kristóf Sass. Saul Nesto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uwe Askri went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.

Vladislav Maksimychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Louis in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Gep FC's Saul Nesto got control of the ball when Gaspar Calisto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saul Nesto made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Gaspar Calisto sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Днепр ФК's Dmitriy Bogaenko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saul Nesto. That made the score 1-4 after 66 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dmitriy Bogaenko in the 69th minute of play forced Gep FC's goalkeeper Saul Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladislav Maksimychev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Lizardi in the 76th minute of play. Gep FC's Saul Nesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dmitriy Bogaenko in the 78th minute of play. Saul Nesto was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Dmitriy Bogaenko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dmitriy Bogaenko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Gep FC's Ali Yılmaz was substituted for Juan Müller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Yılmaz in the 83rd minute of play forced Днепр ФК's goalkeeper Vladislav Maksimychev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ralf Rapp got free with Saul Nesto in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ali Yılmaz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Gep FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Yılmaz couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Gaspar Calisto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Nesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. In the 95th minute, Ali Yılmaz made a precise shot to the right of Vladislav Maksimychev. Днепр ФК's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6.
