But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris Pearse couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Long Worsley to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Luckham. If Joshua Cumming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Diogo Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rusty Reynolds's late challenge caught a OxentePaisa Salcity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rusty Reynolds helped the player get up and apologised. Rusty Reynolds hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Cumming came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Cumming did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Bath Boyce 69 minutes into the match. Bath Boyce made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joshua Cumming in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes Boroondara Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 郑霖钢 who took care of the corner kick. Reşat Orgunalp was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 76 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Joshua Cumming came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
