In the 94th minute, Mário Maradona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roman Rollins. The goal made the score 1-5. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Mário Maradona took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Roman Rollins to make any attempt to save it. The Boca Juniors supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MINEIROS's performance. The match ended with a win for MINEIROS.
