After a rather tough play, ๖ۣۜṂagno's Remus Astafei got a free kick in the 9th minute. Betão Pontes made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Nicolas Sayvion sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Konrad Komanski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sayvion notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicolas Sayvion struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Betão Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ๖ۣۜṂagno. Nicolas Sayvion was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. ๖ۣۜṂagno's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Sayvion in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Pontes saved GKS Katowice from getting behind. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Katowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remus Astafei was slow to take the kick. During this time ๖ۣۜṂagno's players had a chance to rest. After 44 minutes, Remus Astafei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ๖ۣۜṂagno and the GKS Katowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

GKS Katowice's Lucjan Werra was substituted for Ludomir Zacharek. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Sayvion was the one to do the kick off. Betão Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sayvion in the 53rd minute of the match. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sayvion in the 57th minute of play. Nicolas Sayvion might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Sayvion ran back to his position shaking his head. GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Sayvion in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Jacek Birkenhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Katowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ๖ۣۜṂagno the free kick. GKS Katowice:s Betão Pontes showed great skill when he stopped Remus Astafei:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Sayvion in the 66th minute of play forced GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sayvion notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GKS Katowice's Betão Pontes. Betão Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matei Marioara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Werra in the 73rd minute of play. Balthazar Fultoft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Betão Pontes having to make a save. ๖ۣۜṂagno's Martins Palermo was substituted for Nicolas Sayvion. If Martins Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Betão Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Palermo in the 77th minute of play. Martins Palermo scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betão Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute Martins Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martins Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Betão Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes in the game Olgierd Sokolski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Witomir Misiorowski.
